05/27/2008: Kate just finished swimming lessons. She can swim and jump into the deep end of the pool! Renee finished the last of her Psy.D. classes, and is working on her pre-doc internship hours.  Renee is also recovering from a stress fracture in her right foot. Walking on crutches is really hard! Jeff is working hard at his clinic and with home improvement projects at home. The 2008 King family reunion plans are in place and it sounds like many people are coming to Orange County this year to gather together for several meals, day trips, wedding reception banquet, etc.

01/01/2008: Renee's finished her dissertation!  Now just to finish pre-doc internship hours for her Psy.D. degree. Jeff's moved his office to a new, larger location. We've made new goals for personal faith growth, finances, travel, relationship improvements, and raising Kate for 2008.

08/06/2007: Added a King Family Discussion group page so we can all post news and stuff. Refresh! Camp 2007 photos and Lyon, France photos.

07/18/2007: Kate turned 2 this past weekend!  The King family reunion Vancouver 2007 was great (so I hear).  I will be posting photos and revised family tree next week.  Does anyone else want to start a blog/website for the King family?  That way everyone's comments can be posted more instantaneously. We returned from our summer trip to Refresh! camp. It was tiring and great.  I'll post photos from that too soon.

06/11/2007: We are preparing for our trip this year to France to help at a camp for missionaries and their families called Refresh!.  We will be gone 18 days and we are taking Kate with us for the first time since she was born. Jeff's finally getting some payments from insurances for his Family Medicine practice work in the past months!  God has been teaching us patience and reliance on Him. We had Grandma (Great-Grandma) Ellen here with us for 3 weeks this summer, and it was fun. I've updated the King Family page with some contact info from last year, and posted the Tree from Willis, and some documents from Mainland.

01/21/2007: Kate's learned a lot more words. She's giggly and fun with the dog, and she likes reading on her own. Jeff's starting to enjoy the new clinic.  Finally he gets to do more "doctor" things! Renee's trying out a new gym that has childcare for Kate.  Jeff is on a 8 week running program. The goal is to get more healthy and increase physical endurance for wherever God takes us.

01/05/2007: Kate is almost 1 and 1/2 years old! She's talking a lot.  Her new words are "hand", "toe", "eye", and "pen." Kate's favorite food is baby yogurt, we are trying to move her favoritism to something else, though. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in San Jose, and also a great Christmas in Laguna Niguel. Jeff's clinic has officially started.  He's been very busy with "business-y" work, but he's begun to see patients, and that feels a lot better. Renee's on winder break from school, and will start classes again late January.

9/29/2006: Kate loves to sing and hum.  She also runs fast with her little push toy. Renee is trying to finish her doctoral project Step 1, the proposal. Jeff is working on starting a clinic with a friend. We are still painting the exterior of our house. Our 6th wedding anniversary is this Sunday, October 1.

8/8/2006: Kate is 1!  She's 30.5 inches and 20 pounds.  She has 6 teeth with more on the way.

5/19/2006: King Reunion 2006 photos and dinner menu with signatures are posted. Posted Month 10 photos on Baby photo page. Baby Kate is 10 months old.  She is 29+ inches and 19+ pounds. Mother's Day photos to come.

3/23/2006: Posted Months 6-9 photos on Baby photo page. Baby Kate is 8.5 months old. Renee celebrated birthday, and is preparing to return to graduate school in the fall.  Time to set up a doctoral project already! Jeff is pondering different work options in order to care for Kate more days in the fall. We'll be attending a King family reunion in Las Vegas in April. We got new windows for all the bedrooms.  They are super nice:) Finally no drafty rooms. Jeff worked really hard to put in more insulation in our attic.  He was hot and hunched over up there in the darkness, and then covered with scratchy fiberglass stuff! Yuck.

1/2/2006: Posted Months 5 and 6 photos on Baby photo page. Baby Kate is 5.5 months old. Celebrated Thanksgiving in Orange County, celebrated Christmas in San Jose.  New Years? We stayed home. More Christmas photos to come.

06/2005: Just 3 weeks left til Due Date!   Renee's really swollen. Renee passed her Comp Exams at school to finish her 2nd year of the 4 year Psy.D. program.  I will be getting a Master's diploma this summer.  I will take a year of leave from school to be with the baby.

02/2005: See Baby Ultrasound!  We're probably having a girl!

10/2004: We have sold our condo and bought a new house! Jeff started work at a clinic and is also working some shifts at the County Hospital.

6/2004: Jeff is finishing his residency this month.  He'll be freeeee!

5/2004: I finished my first year of grad school. See our photos from the China trip in Albums.

3/2004: Jeff and I went on a humanitarian trip with some other doctors and nurses to China.

9/2003: I started a doctoral program in clinical psychology.  I will be busy for 4 years.
